BSA Pinewood Derby Rules:
Each car is inspected at weigh-in for the following inspection points:
Wood, Wheels and Axles The official pine wood block must be used. The block may be shaped in any way that is desired. Official BSA wheels must be used. The axles may be altered, polished and lubricated. Only axles (nails) provided in the official BSA kit are allowed. no speed axles. Don't break a young boys heart by not allowing him to race. It happens every year and this rule is stricktly enforced.
Misc. Race official decisions are final. The car will be checked in on Friday. The car will remain in the custody of race official until all races are completed. Racers cannot modify cars after check-in. Race officials may allow minor (Necessary) repairs before or during the race.
PLEASE NOTE!!!!! Siblings and adults are strongly encouraged to participate! There will be seperate race divisions for Scouts and Non Scouts. Enter more than one car if you like
